These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the website https://www.kazimovers.ca and moving services offered by Kazi Movers (“Kazi Movers”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
Kazi Movers offers a variety of residential and commercial moving services, including but not limited to: Local moving services, Packing and Unpacking Services Loading and Unloading Services, Furniture handling, and moving logistics. All services are subject to availability and confirmation (Kazi Movers, n.d.).
3.1 Non-Binding Estimates Quotes given through the website or by phone are estimates based on the information received from you. The final price may change if: Changes in inventory, Different access conditions, Change in additional services have been requested, or Weights or time requirements differ from the stated information.
Accuracy of Information. There may be price adjustments if the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete.
Deposits: It may also be necessary to pay a deposit to confirm a booking. Deposits are subject to the cancellation terms below.
4.2 Payment This depends on the agreement in your service contract or invoice. Payment methods that have been approved and specified at booking are accepted. Where applicable, late payments attract additional fees.
Cancellation or rescheduling policies will be indicated during booking. A lack of the required notice may lead to cancellation charges or deposit forfeiture.
You agree on the following: Provide for safe and lawful access to the points of pickup and delivery. Parking the car involves arrangements that secure its position. Pack fragile or high-value items properly (unless you buy packing services). Declare hazardous, banned, and special items. Kazi Movers retains the right to reject the transportation of illegal items.
The following items are not carried: Hazardous material,s Flammable or explosive items Illegal things Perishable goods (unless agreed upon) Dead animals. Failure to declare restricted items can lead to refusal or expulsion from service without refund.
Standard Carrier Liability Liability Considerations: 8.1 Standard Carrier Liability Our liability is based on the applicable provincial and federal transportation laws. Unless they pay for additional valuation coverage, liability may be limited to a standard rate per pound per item as permitted by law.
8.2 Excluded Liability Kazi Movers is excluded from liability for: Customer’s wrong packing. Already damaged materials. Wear and tear. Loss due to force majeure or any event beyond our control.
8.3 Maximum liability 8.3Maximum LiabilityTo the maximum extent allowed under Canadian law, the aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the particular service under dispute.
Sometimes, the customers can also purchase additional valuation coverage. Customers may also be able to buy additional valuation cover.
We do not bear responsibility for delays resulting from; Bad weather Traffic Technical problems Government restrictions, or events which are beyond reasonable control. However, the company will take reasonable steps to ensure that the delay is as minimal as possible.
11.1 Acceptable Use You shall not; Use the website for illegal purposes. Attempt system hacking. Interfere with the functionality of the website.
11.2 Intellectual property All website content, logos, text, graphics, and branding are the property of Kazi Movers and may not be copied or used without written permission.
Your use of our services is also regulated by the Privacy Policy, which can be found at: https://www.kazimovers.ca/privacy-policy.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kazi Movers, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities that result from a violation of these Terms. Incorrect information from you. Negligence on your part.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the relevant federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be dealt with in courts situated in Alberta, unless otherwise stipulated by law.
Before instituting legal proceedings, the parties agree to try good faith negotiation to settle disputes. Nothing in this section limits the statutory rights under the Canadian consumer protection laws.
If any of the provisions of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updates will be posted in the website with a revised Effective Date. By continuing to use our services, you agree to the updated Terms.
